Storm Glass Coffee is a woman-owned multi-roaster coffee shop in Evergreen, Colorado, focused on serving high-quality, specialty coffee.
Founded by Caroline Kobrinovitch in 2024, the shop reflects her years of experience in the coffee world and her time spent in Portland, Oregon, where she developed a deep appreciation for great coffee and the community that forms around it.
At Storm Glass, the focus is simple: good coffee, thoughtful service, and a space where people feel comfortable. With a rotating lineup of carefully selected roasters and a cozy atmosphere, Storm Glass is a place to find reprieve and community.
What’s in a name…
A storm glass, also known as a weather glass, is a way to measure barometric pressure and tell the weather.
I was given an antique storm glass in high school and it has travelled the world with me. While a bit unpractical to bring a delicate glass instrument all over the country and the world, it has made every place I’ve lived feel like home.
So when it came to naming my coffee shop, I just knew that Storm Glass was the name. I wanted my shop to feel personal and an extension of myself and my home.
Storm Glass has always been meant to be a place of gathering and community. When I sat down with my brother in law to build out the logo and brand, we talked a lot about the focus on craft coffee and community. He came up with “slow coffee / fast friends” as a way to show that this is a place where you can slow down, enjoy some truly intentional coffee, and meet a friend or make a friend.
